Course Conditions

If there has been a lot of recent rain you might want to wear wellies / boots as some areas can get water logged.

Please give way to other park users when playing.

Hire Discs

Hire Discs are now available in Caffeine & Co (the café in Longford Park). Disc hire costs £1 - with a £5 deposit (please bring cash!). Ensure you check the opening hours before heading down and ensure you have 1.5 - 2 hours to play a round before the café closes. Alternatively you can turn up at our club meets and borrow some discs for free and we'll show you how to play.

Purchase Discs

If you have your own discs the course is FREE and OPEN - ALWAYS! We have a limited stock of beginner discs for sale - come to one of our Open Days or find out when we're on the course at a club meet. Alternatively there are number of great online shops!

Over 1,000 New Trees in Longford Park!

Since we started the project Manchester Disc Golf and Trafford Council have planed over a THOUSAND new trees in Longford Park!
We have many more exciting plans and hope to continue to develop the course - improving the course is on for not just disc golfers but for everyone!

Open Day - Saturday 2nd September 2017

Come and join us on Saturday 2nd September for a disc golf open day, from 11am to 3.30pm.
Our team of volunteers will be there to show you how to play Disc Golf, and we'll have discs available to borrow or buy.
If it's been raining we recommend wearing wellies or boots, the course can get quite wet in places.
As always it's FREE to play.
Club Meets
During the summer our friendly club meets twice a week to play a couple of social rounds; Wednesday evenings at around 6pm, and Sunday mornings around 10am. Everyone is welcome to join us so please pop down and say hello. If you don't own your own discs at these times we can provide you with free loan discs so you can try out disc golf too!
The best way to find out when people are playing and stay in touch with our regular disc golfers is to join the Manchester Disc Golf Players facebook group.
