Our disc golf course is located in the beautiful Longford Park on the site of a former pitch and putt golf course. The park is situated on the border of Stretford and Chorlton-cum-Hardy just a couple of miles from Manchester City Centre - easily reached by public transport in under 30 minutes!
The course is already OPEN and FREE to use for everyone but if you want to play the course outside of open days / club meets you'll need to hire discs from the café (NOTE the café is currently closed until March 2018) or bring your own discs.
The café is located down the track south of hole 1 (follow the brick wall on your left). Please check the opening hours of the café (and note it's closed until March 2018 for redevelopment!) if you intend to hire discs.
Please note: all hole signs have now been installed, the course map and signs are also available in a mobile friendly version below!
We are pleased to announce all 18 baskets, 30 tee pads (beginner and advanced), landscaping features (including an ancient mystical stone circle), 58 semi-mature trees, 60 apple trees, three new Out of Bounds tree nurseries (containing over 840+ trees) have been installed. This makes Longford Park, Stretford the first 18-hole Disc Golf course in the North-West of England!
Longford Park is worth a visit alone for the beautiful historic gardens, kids play areas, Pets' Corner and much more! Visit http://www.friendsoflongfordpark.org.uk for more information.
Also check out the amazing café Caffeine and Co where you can get freshly baked bread, cakes, and tasty drinks. https://www.facebook.com/CaffeineandCoLongfordPark
You can also hire discs for £1 (with a £5 deposit) - check the opening hours and ensure you have enough time to play a round!
NOTE: The café is currently undergoing redevelopment until March 2018 and hire discs are only available on club meets from our volunteers.

Alternatively the #15 bus from Piccadilly Gardens goes straight to the Quadrant, Stretford.
Free parking is available within the park right next to the course.
Just head for the entrance just off Ryebank Road (follow the signs for Longford Stadium, postcode M21 9TA).
Follow the track through the park past the café, and on the road between the brick walls to the golf course in the north of the park.
